Take a Color Classic, replace the motherboard with one from a LC 575-class machine, and what do you have? A Mystic Mac. This is one of the simplest internal modifications one can do to a Color Classic; the Takky upgrade requires more effort and skill. Many people replace the 575's stock 68LC040 with a full 68040 processor, which is quite simple. Some hack the video circuitry in order to achieve 640×480 resolution.
